Service Description
Our Gentle Yoga for Seniors class is designed specifically for older adults who wish to keep their bodies moving, their minds clear, and their breath steady in a safe and supportive environment. This class focuses on gentle, accessible movement that helps maintain mobility, balance, and overall wellbeing. The pace is slow and mindful, allowing each participant to move comfortably and confidently according to their own body and abilities. During each session we explore three key elements: 1. Breathing (Pranayama): Breath awareness is at the heart of the practice. Through simple breathing techniques, we support lung capacity, relaxation of the nervous system, and a deeper connection between body and mind. 2. Gentle Strength & Stretching: The class includes light exercises designed to improve flexibility, maintain muscle strength, and support joint health. Movements are carefully guided and can be adapted when needed. Chairs, props, and wall support may be used to ensure comfort and stability throughout the practice. 3. Meditation & Relaxation: Each session includes a moment of stillness to quiet the mind and allow the body to rest. These short guided meditations help reduce stress, improve focus, and encourage a sense of inner calm. This class is not about performance or pushing the body. It is about maintaining mobility, cultivating awareness, and supporting wellbeing in a gentle and respectful way. Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy We kindly ask you to please note that all class and package purchases are non-refundable. Bookings are personal to you, so classes cannot be transferred to another person, and packages may not be shared. If you need to cancel or reschedule, you’re welcome to do so up to 12 hours before the class. Cancellations made after this time, or missed classes, will unfortunately be charged.
